The German Technological Company Bosch presented light smart glasses with many functions, including navigation, calls, view text messages, interaction with other gadgets, reminders, alarm clock, notes and more.
In addition to computing and sensory components, SmartGlasses Light has an optical platform consisting of a microelectromechanical system mirrors with ASIC controller, which accurately direct the low-power beam of light into the user’s eye. The glasses are equipped with a 350 mAh battery, whose charge is enough for 14 hours of continuous operation.
The product is primarily intended for drivers and cyclists, but can also be used in everyday life, for example, during cooking or a hike in a supermarket.
On the teaser video (below) it is shown how the cyclist looks through step-by-step GPS instructions in the form of an arrow with a distance varying as the approximation of each turn. The following is shown viewing a list of purchases and a recipe, with its subsequent adjustment with double touch to the frame.
The Bosch BML500P light drive weighs only 10 grams and is small enough so that it can be installed in glasses of various styles. The company also claims that the optical system can be built into glasses with curved and even corrective lenses.
The technical specification says that the glasses can communicate and share data with other smart devices, but this function is not shown in the video.

Previously, the company also presented a laser projection module,
